Questions About Dancing in Portugal?
Find answers about our bachata and salsa events for adults over 45 in Lisbon, Porto, and Cascais
Not at all—we're built for beginners. Whether you're joining our beginner salsa classes in Porto or a bachata social night in Lisbon, every event welcomes people who've never danced before. We'll teach you the basics and get you comfortable on the floor in no time.
All our events are specifically for adults over 45. You'll be dancing with people in your age group who get it—no pressure, no performance vibe, just genuine connection and fun.
We run bachata social nights in Lisbon, beginner salsa classes in Porto, and weekend dance socials in Cascais. Each location has its own schedule, so you can pick what works for you geographically and timing-wise.
Our Lisbon bachata nights run weekly, the Porto classes have multiple sessions throughout the week, and Cascais weekend socials happen regularly on Saturdays and Sundays. Check our events page or contact us for the current schedule—it updates seasonally.
Nope—most people come solo. Everyone rotates partners throughout the night, so you'll dance with different people and meet new folks in the community. It's actually the best way to learn and connect.
Wear something comfortable that lets you move—jeans and a nice top work fine, or dress it up a bit if you like. Bring smooth-soled shoes (dance shoes are ideal, but clean sneakers work for classes). Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel good.
